The Eagle H beam rods probably being of the cheapest and probably work for about 99.99% of the people here. On the more expensive side is the Carillo Titanium Rods. Also Eagle Rods btw are made overseas and if were to cut the middle man probably could get them in that lower price. For strength design and machine tolerances I like Pauter Rods but if money was no limit I would go with the Titanium Rods. They have a strength to weight ratio of 1:82 versus regular chromoly of 1:1. Here is the build quality of a Crower Rod (on the left) versus a Pauter Rod on the right. Thing to notice is how the much of an exact fit is the on the joining of the Rod cap and the rod body. There is no visible line on the Pauter.
